Exclusive Interview
The moment has finally arrived! The interview that we held on this website has been submitted to Anna and she answered the questions! The interview is now online! I will be working with translators to perfect the translation in the interview and will on occasion revise the interview.

Graduated from University
Congratulations to Anna Pavlova for graduating from the P.F. Lesgaft Institute of Physical Culture University in St. Petersburg! Anna graduated yesterday and will be receiving her diploma on the 26'th of this month. Anna has a degree in Physical Culture and Sports, which will help her to find jobs related to sports, such as a Coach. Congratulations Anna! smile

Russian Championship
The Russian Championship has begun today! Anna Pavlova competed in the All Around Finals. She didn't place in the top 3, but the competition will continue for several more days with the Team Finals, and Event Finals! I don't have the full results yet but I'll report them as they become available!

Also, some good news! Yulia Lozhechko has changed her mind about her retirement and is now competing again! She placed in 3'rd place in the competition. Unfortunately the decision comes just a little too late for her to be on the national team this year. I reported that Kristina Pravdina has retired, but I was incorrect. She is still active and competed as well! Kristina however won't be on the national team this year, and I can only operate websites for gymnasts on the national team so their sites will remain archived for now. But I will try to give updates about them here.

2010 Russian National Team Announced
The Russian Gymnastics Federation has announced the 2010 National Team! You can see the full list by clicking the "Read More" button below. Anna Pavlova is on the Reserve list for the Senior Team. This doesn't mean Anna won't compete internationally! Gymnasts on the Reserve list are typically being trained at their home club's facilities and not at Round Lake. Gymnasts that are recovering from injuries are usually on the reserve list, along with juniors.

Father Passed Away
Sadly, it has been reported that Anna Pavlova's father passed away yesterday. Anna will not be competing at the Voronin Memorial this year and will be heading home for the funeral.


I'd like to extend my condolences to Anna and her family. Losing a parent is a very difficult point in our lives and everyone at Anna Pavlova Online wishes Anna our full condolences and support.


May Anatoly Pavlov rest in peace.
